A cast resin radial engine of the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the American carrier-based Vought F4U-5 Corsair fighter in 1:48 scale. This aftermarket accessory replaces the simplified kit part with a casting worked in detail with a faithful cylinder structure that shows with the engine cowling panels open.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier-based fighter with a cranked wing and a powerful radial engine. The F4U-5 version was one of the postwar configurations with a more powerful engine and it was deployed in the Korean War as well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. The engine comes alive once it is painted in metallic shades, the shadows are worked in and the wiring and the ignition harness are lightly picked out.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
