A resin detail set from Aires for 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket accessory. It replaces the simplified landing gear bays from the box with finely cast resin parts with faithful structure of walls, stiffeners and lines.
The F4U-7 was the last production version of the Corsair fighter with its characteristic inverted gull wing. It served above all with French naval aviation.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Protect your airways when sanding resin. Fit the bays before the halves of the fuselage and the wings are closed up.
The plastic kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
