A detail set in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not a model but 3D printed and fully colored interior parts on decal paper. They create realistic instrument panels, side consoles and other cockpit details of the fighter with three-dimensional relief and legible instruments. The small version concentrates on the main panels and is intended for models of the F/A-18A and early F/A-18C in 1:48 scale.

The real subject

The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an American carrier-based multirole combat aircraft. The early A and C versions served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps and carried out fighter and attack duties alike.

Use

• the parts are lifted off the backing and glued to the plastic parts of the cockpit with a suitable glue
• before applying them, remove the raised relief of the instruments from the plastic
• do not use decal softener or setting solution

For modelers who want a faithful colored Hornet cockpit without painting the instruments by hand.

This is an add-on detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
