The set brings a faithful shape and structure that is hard to achieve in the base plastic.
The F/A-18 Hornet is an American twin-engine carrier multirole combat aircraft, single-seat in the C version. The exhaust nozzles of both engines are among the exposed places on a model and rendering them faithfully raises the realism of the tail considerably. The closed position of the nozzles corresponds to a machine on the ground with no thrust. The resin parts offer fine petals and interior structure.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the metallic shades and the heat tinting of the nozzles with paint and a wash. Try the fit dry. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
