Fairchild A-10C Thunderbolt II instrument panels 1:48 from Red Fox Studio bring the look of the modernized cockpit into the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory from Red Fox Studio equips the cockpit of the modernized ground-attack aircraft with panels where, beside the classic instruments, you also find a pair of screens. The set is laid down like a decal and fills the empty areas of the kit. This variant is cut for the Hobby Boss model; the brand also offers a comparable set for the Academy and Hobby 2000 kits.
The C version came out of a modernization program that added two color displays, digital management of the stores and controls concentrated on the stick and the throttle. The machine can therefore deliver guided munitions and work with ground controllers through a datalink. The cannon and the tough structure stayed unchanged; what changed above all was the electronics and the ability to work in the dark. That is exactly why the cockpit became the most conspicuous difference from the older machines, which had a panel full of round gauges.
Carefully sand the molded dials flat and degrease the area. Offer the panel up, align it against the frame and press it down with a soft wooden stick. Let the interior rest before you close it under the canopy. The screens will stand out if, once dry, you go over them with a drop of gloss varnish and leave the surroundings matte.
