This set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio contains colored 3D cockpit interior decals for models of the British Fairey Battle Mk.I light bomber in 1:48 scale. The individual elements are printed on a backing decal paper, they have a three-dimensional relief and accurate coloring including the dial faces of the instruments.
Once fitted, the pilot's space gains the realistic depth of the instrument panel, the side panels, the levers and the seat. The part is cut out, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the paper; it has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss clear coat. The set is also completed with small 3D-printed resin parts.
It is not a resin kit and not a photo-etched set but layered colored decals which speed up and sharpen the detailing of a cockpit. Do not use a decal softener, as its chemicals attack the printed resin.
