A set of seat belts for the British Fairey Swordfish torpedo biplane in 1:48 scale from HGW. The belts are made of fine cloth (microtextile), which faithfully reproduces the texture of real straps and allows a natural sag and folds. Photo-etched metal buckles and fittings are included. These are not classic water-slide decals but a fabric detail set.
Cut the belts out, thread them through the buckles according to the instructions and shape them over the seats. The cloth can be bent easily into natural folds; super glue or PVA glue (white glue) serves to fix it. Painting is not needed, though the shade can be tied together with fine toning.
The set holds fabric belts and metal buckles; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
