Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the carrier jet fighter North American FJ-4 Fury in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with an instrument panel, well worked out landing gear, a glazed canopy made of clear parts and decals for US Navy carrier squadrons.
The FJ-4 Fury was a carrier jet fighter of the US Navy and the Marine Corps. It came from a design line related to the land-based F-86 Sabre but was fundamentally reworked for operation from aircraft carriers and gained a new swept wing as well as a stronger structure. It served at the end of the 1950s, and the attack version FJ-4B carried external stores. The Fury was one of the important machines in the transition of the US Navy to jet aircraft.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and accentuate it with a wash before closing the fuselage. Mask the cockpit glazing for sharp frames. Spray the glossy naval finish with an airbrush over a primer and add a fine panel wash; paint any external stores separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
