1:48 Focke-Wulf 1000 Fast Bomber EXPERT is a die-cut masking set by New Ware at the most extensive level. Compared with the BASIC variant it also covers the inner faces of the cabin canopy.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for painting a model in 1:48 scale. It is not a model and not a component of one, but an aid thanks to which the frames of the cabin get crisp edges and the glazing stays clean. The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive in the brand's range, so it is the choice for modelers who want to see the work through even where people do not normally look.
New Ware divides its sets into levels by extent. BASIC is the basic variant aimed at the external masking of glazing and wheels, ADVANCED extends the scope and EXPERT goes furthest, because it also covers the inner faces of the cabin canopy. The difference between items with the same aircraft name therefore lies precisely in the level, and it is not a duplicate. You will appreciate internal masking if you are building a model with an open canopy or if you want the frames to be correctly painted from the inside as well.
The Focke-Wulf 1000 Fast Bomber is a German projected design for a fast bomber from the end of the Second World War. It stayed at the design stage and no machine was ever built. Models of such projects form a separate chapter, and one popular among modelers.
Degrease the glazed parts and let them dry. Transfer the masks with tweezers, lay them in place and press them down around their whole perimeter, so that no paint runs under them. Apply the paint in thin coats, because a heavy coat creates a step at the edge. Remove a mask as soon as the paint has set. With internal masking, watch the order of work so that an assembled cabin does not have to be taken apart again.
The masks are an accessory to a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
