Eduard 1:48 Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 SPACE is a color interior set of the SPACE range on decal paper. It is lifted off the dampened backing paper and fixed with PVA glue.

A set of the SPACE range from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Fw 190A-3 fighter in 1:48 scale. The elements are printed and colored on decal paper — but they are not transferred to the model by soaking: only the backing paper is dampened and the element is lifted off it with tweezers. Against classic photo-etched parts, both bending and painting are done away with: the parts are colored straight out of the package. The plastic model is not included.
The Fw 190A-3 belonged to the early production versions of the A series. It was powered by a twin-row BMW 801 radial engine with a fixed circular cowling, which gave the aircraft its characteristic blunt nose. The cockpit was tight and clearly laid out, with the instrument panel divided into distinct groups of gauges and with side consoles on both sides of the seat. It is exactly those areas that the set deals with — once the canopy is closed, mainly the instrument panel and the upper part of the side panels remain visible, so it is worth concentrating on seating them accurately.
The base has to be smooth and preferably with a gloss coat; on a matte surface the decal silvers. Cut the part out close to the edge and dampen only the backing paper under it with a sponge and a drop of detergent, until the element releases from the backing. Lift it off with tweezers, fix it with PVA glue (white glue) and soak the surplus moisture away with a paper tissue. A decal softener does not belong on the shaped areas; its chemistry attacks the printed resin, so let the element dry without being touched. Once the decal has dried, spray a matte varnish over it so that the gloss blends in with the surroundings. Work in good light and with plenty of time — once a color panel is seated it is hard to correct.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
