Fw 190D exhaust stacks 1:48 is a detail set of exhaust stacks by Eduard, made by direct 3D printing, for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from the Eduard Brassin line brings faithfully rendered exhaust stacks for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter in 1:48 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing with very fine detail and hollow exhaust outlets and replace the plastic parts from the base kit. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D, nicknamed Dora, was a late version of the famous German fighter, powered by the inverted V12 Jumo 213 engine with its characteristic lengthened nose. The rows of exhaust pipes along the sides of the engine cowling are among the visually prominent details where a finer rendering pays off.
Separate the 3D printed parts carefully from their print supports and wash any residue off. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding. Spray the exhausts with a primer and shade them in the typical burnt and rusted tones, darkening the outlets.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
