The Focke-Wulf FW190D-12 R14 is a plastic kit of the German fighter aircraft in its torpedo configuration in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Hobby Boss captures the German fighter aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in the D-12 version in the R14 configuration, that is in its torpedo-carrying form. The model has an engraved surface structure, a broken-up interior and a pylon for a torpedo.
The Fw 190D was the line with an extended nose and a V engine, nicknamed Dora. The D-12 version was among the late fighter variants. The R14 configuration was the torpedo-carrying form, able to carry an aerial torpedo under the fuselage. It was a late and fairly rare branch of development of the type.
Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are recommended. Fit the torpedo only at the end of the build. Bring late German schemes to life with fine shading of the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
