This item from the Dynamo-Models figure range for 1:48 scale ties in with French tank crews of 1940. The number in the name tells the individual items on the same subject apart, and the manufacturer offers several of them in this scale, including a combined one. It is a diorama accessory to vehicles, not a vehicle kit.
In 1940 the French army fielded an extensive and technically varied tank park, from the light Renault R35 and Hotchkiss H35 machines through the medium Somua S35 to the heavy Char B1 bis. The crews wore the characteristic tankman's helmet and a leather or canvas outer overall, which makes them visually well recognizable figures that cannot be mistaken for the crews of other armies. The campaign of May and June 1940 is meanwhile represented in modeling work markedly less than the later years of the war, so period figures are harder to come by for French vehicles.
If you paint the figure, wash it first in lukewarm water with detergent and let it dry. The leather items come out when you go over them after the undercoat with a dark wash and lighten the edges; a single flat brown area looks flat. The overall can take gentle soiling from the operation of the vehicles, which is likely for the period with tankmen. Try placing the figure so that it follows on from a particular place on the vehicle, that is at a hatch, a fender or the side of the hull.
