The Aires resin inspection panel for the Fw 190 (late) in 1:48 scale adds a finely cast open service panel. This is not a kit, but a detail accessory for a model of the German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a kit. It is a small resin accessory from the Czech manufacturer Aires representing an open inspection (service) panel for a model of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in 1:48 scale, in the late form. The casting captures the internal structure and equipment behind the panel, which a kit would otherwise leave hidden. An open panel gives the model an impressive servicing scene.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the most important German fighters of the Second World War. It excelled in its rugged design, good agility and wide landing gear; the late versions differed in details of the airframe and the equipment. Open service panels were a common sight on machines under maintenance.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin part, cut off the casting block and clean it up. A corresponding opening has to be cut in the model to match the panel, so the set suits more experienced modelers. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways when sanding.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
