Fw 190A control surfaces early 1:48 is a resin supplementary set from the company Eduard with the control surfaces for the early versions of models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket set in resin, not a model in its own right. It holds the control surfaces, that is the ailerons, the elevators and the rudder, for the early versions of Focke-Wulf Fw 190A models in 1:48 scale. The resin parts replace the plastic surfaces and bring a faithful structure of the skin as well as the chance to deflect the surfaces into a dynamic position.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A was a German fighter with a radial engine, one of the most feared fighters of the Second World War. The early versions (roughly the A-2 up to the A-4) had a characteristic rendering of the control surfaces; their faithful structure and the chance to deflect them add liveliness to a model.
Wash the parts clean of the mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with protection of the breathing. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit with the wing and the tail surfaces before gluing them on; deflected positions look best when they are visually tuned to each other across all the surfaces.
This is a supplementary set in resin. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
