MASTER 1:48 MG FF (20 mm) aircraft cannon barrels (2 pcs) is a set of two turned metal barrels for German aircraft of the Second World War. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two precisely turned metal barrels of the German 20 mm MG FF aircraft cannon in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail replacement part that takes the place of the coarser plastic barrels from an ordinary kit. The manufacturer is the Polish company MASTER, which specializes in turned metal barrels, pitot tubes and probes for aircraft models.
The MG FF was a German 20 mm aircraft cannon derived from the Swiss Oerlikon. During the Second World War it was carried by a number of Luftwaffe machines, for example the early versions of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Bf 110 and the first variants of the Fw 190. A metal barrel gives the model the fine, sharp muzzle detail that a plastic molding cannot reach.
Cut the original plastic barrel off, drill a hole in the remainder of the part and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate. The metal polishes and paints easily. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
