The decal sheet offers historical markings applied to the vertical tail (the fin) of German fighter aircraft from the years 1937 to 1945 in 1:48 scale. It holds a large number of markings in various sizes and forms, so it will serve for a whole range of machines and camouflage schemes.
The markings on the fin changed several times during the war in size, placement and the thickness of the border. The set covers those variants, so you can follow a particular period form exactly according to the aircraft you are building and the time of its service.
Apply the decals to a smooth gloss coat, which prevents dulling and silvering. Once dry, cover the area with a matte or semi-gloss coat so that the marking blends into the paint around it. For a perfect fit to the detail of the rudder, use a decal softener.
