A German motorcyclist of the Second World War period caught at the moment when the machine is being pushed not by its engine but by him. It is a rewarding scene: the figure leans into the handlebars, its body is tilted forward and the whole group thereby gets a movement that a standing figure never has. The 1:48 scale and the shaping for the BMW motorcycle kit from the maker Tamiya mean that the position of the hands and the stance suit this machine without modification.
On a display case diorama, in an airfield or column scene and as a way of bringing an area beside a larger model to life. A figure in movement explains the action to the viewer faster than a caption: it is immediately clear that the machine is heading somewhere and that someone is moving it under his own power. In a display case the figure therefore works even on its own, as a small scene beside a larger whole.
First wash and degrease the parts, otherwise the paint will not hold on them. Deal with the preparation and gluing according to the material and the manufacturer's instructions; cyanoacrylate glue usually serves. Before painting, apply a thin layer of base, then build the shade up in layers from dark to light. Leave the face and hands until the end, as those are the places everyone looks at. Finally even the whole figure out with matte clear coat, since a glossy uniform looks like a toy.
Paints, glue and the motorcycle kit the figure is shaped for are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
