Grumman OV-1D Mohawk 1:48, rear electronics from Black Dog concentrates on the rear section of the equipment of this reconnaissance machine.
Responsibility details are not available.
The rear part of the interior equipment, which a plastic kit most often handles as nothing but empty space, is what this Black Dog accessory takes care of. Bear in mind that a plastic base kit in the same scale is a necessary condition for using it.
The last main variant of the Mohawk was adapted for battlefield sensing and carried equipment for which space was freed up in the rear of the airframe for separate assemblies. The US ground forces operated the type for decades and it served out the whole Cold War era. The characteristic silhouette with its triple vertical surfaces and hefty engine nacelles makes it one of the most recognizable machines in its class, which a modeler building a collection of reconnaissance types for the display case will appreciate as well.
The rear section is harder to reach, so think the order of the steps through in advance and set the assembly in before you glue the fuselage together. If you plan an open panel, check beforehand how far inside will be visible and give the rest of your time only to the visible surfaces. A brush will do for the painting; a dark wash and light drybrushing of the edges add depth. The cables and the wiring stand out when you set them apart from the glossy surfaces with a matte finish.
The aircraft model and the consumables are not in the package.
