An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby. It is a multimedia model which besides the plastic parts contains photo-etched sheet and extensive decals. This edition covers the reconnaissance version of the aircraft and is complemented by crew and ground personnel figures.
The Halberstadt CL.II was a German two-seat aircraft of the period of the First World War, used for escort, reconnaissance and attacks on ground targets. It was distinguished by good agility and by the cooperation of the pilot and the observer, who shared a common cockpit space.
For a biplane of this period have patience ready for building the interplane struts; a liquid cement for plastic and a firm thread for the bracing wires work well. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. The painting is brought to life by the typical camouflage schemes of the period; we recommend painting the figures separately. We recommend using a base color and an airbrush for even surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
