An injection-molded plastic kit of the British V/STOL ground-attack aircraft Harrier GR.9 in 1:48 scale from Hobby 2000. The edition uses the proven Hasegawa injection tooling and adds quality Cartograf decals and a masking set. The GR.9 is an upgrade of the GR.7 version with improved avionics and an extended ability to carry modern weapons.
The Harrier GR.9 was the last ground-attack version of the second-generation British Harrier. It came about through a program to upgrade the GR.7 machines and brought new avionics, more capable systems and the ability to deploy modern precision-guided munitions. Royal Air Force and Royal Navy machines flew them for attacks on ground targets and for close support until the Harrier was withdrawn from British service.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Mask the canopy glazing with the mask supplied. Watch the correct setting of the vectoring nozzles. Spray the large surfaces with an airbrush and lay a gloss coat under the decals. Fit the external stores and the tanks at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
