1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I 1940 Battle of Britain Pt.2

Xtradecal 1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I 1940 Battle of Britain Pt.2

A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale devoted to Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighters from the period of the Battle of Britain in 1940. The second part of the themed line adds further markings to the first sheet and serves for finishing a kit that is already built and painted.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I is a British single-seat fighter which, together with the Spitfire, bore the main weight of the defense of Britain in 1940. Its robust structure with mixed skinning and its good stability made it a dependable weapons platform, to which Fighter Command credits a considerable share of the machines shot down during the battle.

Use and application

• Give the area under the decals a coat of gloss varnish.
• Release the decal in lukewarm water and move it onto the model.
• A softener will help the decal conform to the detail of the surface.
• Seal it at the end with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

For modelers interested in the fighters of the Battle of Britain and in their period national and unit markings.

This is an accessory, decals, and not an airplane model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
