This resin set holds precisely cast barrels of the pair of 40 mm wing cannon for the Hawker Hurricane subject in the Mk.IID version. It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory that will replace the simplified plastic parts from the kit with more faithful castings with sharp mouths and a fine surface.
The Hurricane Mk.IID was a British fighter reworked for the fight against ground equipment. Under the wings it carried a pair of large-caliber 40 mm cannon rounded out with machine guns for aiming. It found its use above all in North Africa, where this configuration served to destroy armor.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue the barrels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. A metallic look to the barrels is helped by a dark base and light drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
