A detail cockpit set for the British Hawker Sea Fury fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the basic cockpit interior from a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed assembly: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles, a seat and the control levers.
The Hawker Sea Fury was a British carrier-based fighter from the end of the Second World War, one of the fastest production piston fighters of all. It was powered by a powerful radial engine and served with the Fleet Air Arm even after the jet era arrived, among other places in the Korean War.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue. The interior comes into its own once painted in a base shade, with the edges picked out dry and a gentle wash that underlines the instruments and the structure of the panels.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
