A photo-etched interior set for the German He 111 bomber in 1:48 scale from Eduard - fine metal parts for the cockpit, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched interior set for the German Heinkel He 111 bomber in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an airplane model but a set of fine metal parts that replace or complete the equipment of the crew stations in a plastic kit. Photo-etched parts in thin sheet are sharper than molded plastic and cover instrument panels, seat belts, control levers and small cockpit details. The material is usually brass, with steel for some parts.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine medium bomber with a characteristic glazed nose. It was in action from the beginning of the Second World War, among other things in the Battle of Britain, and served in various roles until the end. The spacious glazed cockpit lets detailed interior equipment show to advantage.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them over the edge of a ruler or in a bender. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and it is worth degreasing the surface before gluing. It is best to assemble and paint the interior completely before the fuselage is closed up. The set is aimed at more experienced modelers used to small metal parts.
The set does not include the model of the aircraft itself; it serves as an accessory for the matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
