The set holds resin replacement landing gear doors for a plastic model of the German Heinkel He 111H-3 bomber in 1:48 scale. This is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the thicker plastic doors with thinner, more accurately cast parts with a faithful inner structure.
The cast doors have a realistic edge thickness and fine relief, so once fitted, the landing gear bays of the model read considerably more faithfully. The parts are designed as a direct replacement.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways when sanding. Bring up the inner faces of the doors with a wash so that the relief stands out.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
