1:48 Henschel Hs 123: a photo-etched set of exterior details is an accessory to a kit of this biplane that you have already bought, not a model in its own right. The set is cut for the Esci or the Italeri kit and refines those exterior features of the airframe that cannot be cast in injected plastic in a real thickness.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds a photo-etched fret with exterior details of the airframe of the Henschel Hs 123 biplane. It is not an airplane kit: you use the set on a plastic model you have already bought and for which it is cut. The benefit of photo-etched metal lies mainly in thickness, as sheet metal parts, grilles, fittings and small stiffeners measure a fraction of a millimeter on the real aircraft and in plastic they cannot be cast other than oversize.
The Hs 123 was a German single-engined biplane of the 1930s with fixed landing gear and a radial engine, assigned as a dive bomber and ground attack airplane. In construction it is a combination of a metal frame and fabric covering with prominent engine cowlings and fixed landing gear fairings, so there are a fair number of exterior details on a model and photo-etched metal tells on them markedly.
Make the bends in a bending tool or between two razor blades so that the edge is sharp and true. If a part tears, anneal the brass briefly over a flame first and let it cool, which softens it. The original plastic detail that the photo-etched part replaces has to be cut off first and the area sanded flat, or the new part will not seat. Glue with a drop of thin super glue and let the joint set without pressure, so that the glue does not creep over the edge.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
