Masking set for the Hawker Hunter F.6 (1:48, Eduard)

It is not an aircraft model but a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the British Hawker Hunter F.6 jet fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks are die-cut from quality yellow masking tape and follow the frames of the cockpit glazing precisely; on jet aircraft of this type the set usually also holds circular masks for the wheel hubs.

Use

• Clean and degrease the glazing and the wheels.
• Take the individual masks off the sheet and lay them precisely on the canopy frames, or on the wheel hubs.
• Cover the surrounding areas and apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush.
• Once it has dried, take the masks off and you get sharp, straight edges to the frames.
