A set of photo-etched metal parts for detailing a model of the Hunter FR.10 aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains photo-etched metal parts for a model in 1:48 scale. Etching makes it possible to produce elements in a thickness that cannot be reached with plastic, which is why these sets are used wherever a thin edge or an open grille is visible. What exactly the set adds and in what order the parts are fitted is given in the instructions enclosed with it.
The Hunter FR.10 is the reconnaissance version of the British single-seat jet aircraft Hawker Hunter. The basic machine arose in the 1950s, had a swept wing and smooth fuselage lines, and with the Royal Air Force and with foreign operators alike it lasted in service exceptionally long. The reconnaissance version differs from the fighter one above all in the equipment of the nose, where the cameras were placed.
Separate a photo-etched part with a sharp blade on a hard surface, never with nippers. Level the remains of the tab with a file. Bend over an edge or in a bender in one movement. Metal does not dissolve, so cement for plastic models does not take on it - use super glue and degrease the surfaces beforehand. Apply the paint over a primer meant for metal, otherwise it will rub off during handling. Tip the small parts out onto a light surface and pick them up with tweezers, because searching for a photo-etched part in the carpet is hopeless.
The set is for a modeler who is building a Hunter and wants to get further than a plastic kit reaches. Which kit it fits, verify in the instructions.
An aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
