A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand; this is not a stand-alone model. The set holds finely cast side cockpit doors in 1:48 scale for building the I-153 Chaika fighter biplane. The thin castings make it possible to show the doors open and so reveal the detail of the cockpit.
The I-153 Chaika was a Soviet single-seat fighter biplane of the late 1930s, characterized by its cranked upper wing and its retractable landing gear. The open side doors of the cockpit are a rewarding feature for bringing a model to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the doors, carefully cut off the casting blocks and line them up with the fuselage. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the inner face to match the interior of the cockpit. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
