The Aires IAI Kfir C7 cockpit set 1:48 is a resin add-on set that replaces the basic cockpit of a kit with a finely cast interior of the Israeli fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the maker Aires is not an airplane model but a detailed resin replacement for the cockpit for building the Israeli IAI Kfir C7 fighter in 1:48 scale. It typically contains a cast cockpit tub with side consoles, an instrument panel, an ejection seat and fine accessories. Photo-etched parts and clear films with printed instruments tend to be included. The parts are crisply cast, with a level of detail that injection-molded plastic cannot offer.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli multirole fighter derived from the airframe of the Dassault Mirage and powered by a General Electric J79 engine. The C7 version is one of the upgraded variants with higher thrust and expanded options for carrying armament. The canards on the nose are characteristic.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. Before painting we recommend a primer for an even surface and better paint adhesion.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
