SBS Model 1:48 IAI Kfir C7 – cockpit set is a resin detail set of the cockpit with photo-etched parts for models of the Israeli IAI Kfir C7 fighter.

This is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket detail set. It combines a finely cast resin cockpit interior (the tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles, the ejection seat) with photo-etched parts and replaces the simplified cockpit of the base kit by a markedly more detailed rendering matching the C7 version. The set is intended for models of the Israeli IAI Kfir C7 fighter in 1:48 scale.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli fighter derived from the French Dassault Mirage design, fitted with an American turbojet and Israeli avionics. The canards of the later versions are characteristic. The C7 variant brought modernized avionics and an increased weapons load.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks; fold the photo-etch exactly along the scored lines. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the interior and pick it out with a wash before you close the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and serves to improve the base kit, which it does not include.
