This is a resin detail set, not an airplane model. The set replaces the landing gear bays of a plastic kit of the Swedish Saab 35 Draken fighter with faithfully cast bay walls with runs of wiring, lines and stiffeners. The aim is to replace the simplified or empty plastic bays with a realistically worked space.
The Saab 35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic fighter with a characteristic double delta wing. The retractable landing gear hid away inside the slim fuselage and the wing, so faithfully executed bays add to the realism of the underside of a finished model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bond resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Before the fuselage and the wings are closed, check how the bay walls seat. Paint and weather the inside before the final assembly, and pick out the wiring and the lines with a gentle wash.
