About product

Jaguar A - cannon barrels 1:48 (Aires/Quickboost)

A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. The set holds precisely cast cannon barrels for the French SEPECAT Jaguar A attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.

What the set offers

The castings faithfully capture the barrels of the gun armament of the French Jaguar A version. The finely cast muzzles look more realistic than the plastic parts and there is no laborious drilling to do. The set is shaped for a particular kit, which it matches dimensionally.

Tips for working with resin

  • First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue
  • Cut the casting blocks off with a saw; do not snap them off
  • Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); plastic cement does not hold on resin
  • Protect your airways while sanding and do not breathe in the resin dust

This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
