Eduard 1:48 exhaust nozzles for the Jaguar GR.1 (PRINT) — a 3D-printed resin accessory that replaces the plastic nozzles of the kit. It is not a model, but a detail set for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of exhaust nozzles for the Anglo-French SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1 attack aircraft. It is an accessory for advanced modelers, not a standalone model: the parts replace the rear engine nozzles from the plastic kit directly and are intended for the Airfix model in 1:48 scale. Direct 3D printing faithfully captures the fine structure of the petals and the inside of the nozzles.
The Jaguar GR.1 was a single-seat supersonic ground-attack aircraft powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca Adour turbojets. It served with the Royal Air Force from the 1970s as a carrier of conventional and tactical armament for strikes against ground targets. The exhaust nozzles are among the visually exposed areas where the simplified plastic part is usually replaced by a finer accessory.
Wash the parts to remove any print resin residue, release them from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The inside of the nozzles takes a dark base and fine shading of metallic tones well. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an accessory set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
