Responsibility details are not available.
A vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Rob Taurus, intended for the late version of the Soviet Yak-7 fighter. It replaces the production cockpit canopy with a thinner and optically cleaner part of the matching shape. It is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory.
The Yakovlev Yak-7 was one of the successful Soviet frontline fighters of the Second World War. The late machines differed from the early ones above all in the shape of the glazing and in the cut-down rear fuselage, which improved the view to the rear. This canopy matches the late form of the cockpit.
The molding is cut out with a sharp knife along the outline, and the edges are sanded and polished. The thin part makes it possible to show the cockpit open with the interior exposed. It is glued with glue for clear parts; the frames are masked before varnishing.
This is a standalone accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
