The Japanese M30-32 helmet in 1:48 scale, the variant marked as detail, is a small accessory for figures from the Second World War period, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a small accessory for figures, not a kit and not a whole figure either. It brings the Japanese steel helmet in 1:48 scale in the version marked with the word detail; the manufacturer also makes a basic variant of the same subject and further scales. Which version you need is not stated here, so check the contents on the box.
The Japanese steel helmet designated M30-32, in the literature also known as the Type 90, was introduced at the beginning of the 1930s and served the Japanese army until 1945. The shell is shallow and fairly round, with a short edge running all the way round; the chin strap was made of fabric tapes. It is exactly that shallow shape which sets it apart on a figure from European helmets of the same period.
Before building, wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent. Separate it from the casting block with a fine saw, level the mark with a file and do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Begin painting with a thin primer, go on with the base shade and refine the surface with a drybrush along the edges. A fine dark wash will pick out the transition from the shell into the edge and make the part more legible in a small scale.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
