Colored self-adhesive 3D decals of the cockpit interior for models of the Swedish JAS-39 A Gripen fighter in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Kelik. These are neither photo-etched parts nor resin, but three-dimensional, raised decals printed on a flexible film, which are applied like a decal and lend the modern pilot's cockpit colored depth and texture.
The set contains colored 3D elements of the interior, typically the main instrument and multi-function displays, the side panels, the controls and the seat belts. The spatial details take the place of the demanding painting of small elements and bring out the characteristically digital cockpit of the Gripen. The decals are designed so that they fit exactly into the interior of the corresponding model in this scale.
Degrease the surfaces before application, separate the elements carefully and settle them precisely in place. The seating and the adhesion can be fine-tuned with modeling decal softener; the flexible film follows the shape of the base. Once dry, a final matte clear coat will unify the surface and at the same time protect the color print.
This is an accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
