A masking set for a model of the Gloster Javelin in 1:48 scale, in the form for the outer and the inner side of the glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Gloster Javelin was a British two-seat all-weather fighter aircraft with a delta-shaped wing and with a tail surface set high. In the service of the Royal Air Force it provided mainly night patrols and those in demanding weather from the middle of the 1950s. The cabin has two spaces one behind the other and fairly intricate framing, so ready-made masks pay off on a model.
Masking elements for the Javelin in 1:48 scale. The qualifier in the name says that the set reckons with the outer and the inner side of the glazing, so even the framing that is visible through the transparent part can be sprayed. The kit the set is prepared for and the exact extent is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Masking is done before spraying and the way goes from the inside out. First wash the transparent parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, let them dry and take them by the edges from then on.
For a modeler who is building the Javelin in 1:48 scale and wants the framing of the cabin sharp from both sides, without cutting tape. The package contains a masking set; a kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
