A resin Bf-109 E pilot's seat in 1:48 scale, a 3D-printed cockpit accessory for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 E fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate resin pilot's seat produced by 3D printing, meant as a replacement for the simplified seat from a plastic kit. It is not an airplane model but a cockpit detail accessory for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E. The fine printing captures the shape of the bucket and the suggestion of the belts and lifts the look of the interior.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 E, known as the Emil, was the main German fighter of the early part of the Second World War and was used in the Battle of Britain among other actions. Being a piston aircraft it had no ejection mechanism, only a fixed bucket pilot's seat with simple seat belts.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, cut off the print supports and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A primer coat is recommended, then a base color and toning with a wash; the bucket comes into its own after a dry brush.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package.
