Reskit 1:48 Jet Provost wheels set, type 2 is a resin replacement for the landing gear wheels for models of this British trainer aircraft. It is an accessory for a build, not a model of the aircraft.

A resin set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit replaces the landing gear wheels on a model of the Jet Provost jet trainer in 1:48 scale. The designation type 2 distinguishes the second of the two patterns that the manufacturer offers for this machine; the wheels in fact differed from one training version to another and a mix-up is noticeable on a finished model. It is an aftermarket accessory, that is parts fitted in place of the parts from the kit. The model of the aircraft itself is not included in the package.
The Jet Provost is a British two-seat jet trainer with side-by-side seats. It came about by reworking an older piston-engined trainer and from the 1950s became the basic type for the training of Royal Air Force pilots. Several training versions gradually came about, which differed in engine, equipment and, in the later pattern, in a pressurized cockpit as well; a combat-armed aircraft intended mainly for export was also derived from the design. The landing gear changed as the type developed, so it is worth checking which version you want to build.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent to remove the remains of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the seating surface; protect your airways while sanding. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is super glue. Paint the disc and the tire separately or help yourself out with masking at the boundary. Fit the wheels to the model right at the end; a fine application of pigment on the seating surface and around the hub adds to the credibility of the model, but it is better to dose it sparingly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
