Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for a plastic model of the German Ju 87B Stuka dive bomber. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka is a German dive bomber of the Second World War with an unmistakable cranked wing and fixed landing gear in aerodynamic spats. It became famous for its accurate dive attacks and for the sirens that gave out their characteristic wail during an attack. The B version is the early main production variant used at the start of the war.
Degrease the extensive glazing of the Stuka's heavily framed canopy thoroughly. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently on the individual fields of the framing, press them into the edges and fine-tune the corners with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The masks for the wheels in their aerodynamic spats separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
