A resin, 3D printed detail set of main landing gear wheels for models of the German Junkers Ju 88 combat aircraft in 1:48 scale, the form of variant 3. This is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory replacing the plastic wheels from the box. The tires have a faithful flat spot and a slight deflection, so a standing model looks naturally loaded.
The Junkers Ju 88 was an exceptionally versatile German twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. A massive landing gear carried the heavy machine and faithful wheels under load therefore contribute markedly to the realistic look of a model on the apron.
Cut the parts off the print supports, clean up the traces left by them and wash the set free of remnants of the release agent. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Compare the form of the hub (var. 3) with the real subject you are building.
The set contains only the resin wheels, not the whole model. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
