A colored photo-etched set of safety belts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for the model of the German Junkers Ju 88A-5 bomber in 1:48 scale. The pre-printed colored belts with a faithful structure and buckles replace the flat plastic suggestions and noticeably bring the seats in the roomy cockpit to life. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The Junkers Ju 88 was among the most versatile German combat aircraft of the Second World War. The A-5 version was a twin-engine bomber with a glazed nose and a wide wingspan, used as a medium bomber. Its multi-seat cockpit offers several seats on which photo-etched belts stand out.
Nip the belts out carefully and bend them on a hard surface so that they drape over the seat naturally. They are glued with a small drop of super glue. The colored rendering is not painted over, it is only fixed with a matte varnish as needed. For a faithful look let the belts fall freely over the edges of the seat cushion.
The accessory is supplied separately. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
