Junkers F.13 1:48 painting mask is a set of self-adhesive Peewit masks for the canopy and the cabin windows of this pioneering all-metal airliner.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from Peewit in 1:48 scale, cut from kabuki paper. The mask covers the glazing of the pilot's position as well as the passenger cabin windows, so spraying gives you sharp, clean frames while the transparent areas stay clear. The fiddly work of masking with tape falls away.
The Junkers F.13 of 1919 was one of the first all-metal airliners in the world. With its corrugated duralumin skin and an enclosed passenger cabin it pioneered civil air transport and was operated by dozens of companies around the world.
Peel the masks off the backing sheet, lay them on the corresponding glazing frames and press them down. It works well to spray the color of the inner frames first and the outer shade afterwards; once the paint is dry, remove the masks carefully.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
