A set of self-adhesive masking templates in 1:48 scale for a plastic model of the German three-engine Junkers Ju-52/3M transport aircraft. It is not a kit. The masks are cut from fine yellow Japanese tape (kabuki) and follow exactly the shape of the extensive, segmented glazing of the flight deck.
The glazing of the Ju 52 has a great many small frames, and masking them by hand is slow work. Ready-made templates speed the job up and ensure crisp, clean transitions. With aircraft sets, masks for the wheel hubs tend to be included as well.
A separate masking set. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
