A resin replacement set of late-type main landing gear wheels and a tail wheel for models of the Junkers Ju 88A-4 bomber and night fighter and of the later C-6/G versions in 1:48 scale. It replaces the standard plastic wheels with more faithful castings with a sharper tread pattern.
Landing gear wheels are very conspicuous on a large twin-engine aircraft. Resin castings have a cleaner tire profile and finer detail on the hubs and axle bosses, which matches the late Junkers versions better.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend painting the tires a flat dark gray, the hubs in an RLM shade, and weathering them lightly with dust and mud; masking the tread will help toward a clean spray.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
