Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of the engine with its gearbox for the Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopter. It is an accessory for advanced modelers, not a standalone model — it lets you render the powerplant in detail for an uncowled, museum or maintenance diorama. The parts are made by direct 3D printing with fine structures that a plastic kit usually does not offer. According to the manufacturer, the set is intended for the Zvezda and Quinta kits.
The Ka-52, NATO reporting name Hokum-B, is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter with a characteristic coaxial system of two contra-rotating rotors. It is powered by two turboshaft units whose output is transmitted through the gearbox to the rotor system. The engine nacelles and the gearbox are among the most attractive areas when the model is built with the covers open.
Wash the parts to remove any uncured resin residue, separate them from the print supports and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine detail stands out once a base coat and a wash have been applied. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
