A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand for the plastic kits of the Japanese Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien and Ki-100 fighters in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but a replacement stabilizer, the horizontal tail surface, with a more faithful profile and a finer surface than the plastic kit offers.
The Ki-61 Hien was a Japanese fighter of the Second World War with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, while the related Ki-100 grew out of it with a radial engine. The horizontal tail surface is a prominent part of the silhouette, and an accurate replacement improves the fidelity of the shape.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Mind the correct seating angle relative to the fuselage. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
