This is a combined accessory in 1:48 scale, not a kit. The set contains resin replacement wheels with faithful relief on the tires and hubs and a set of self-adhesive painting masks for masking the glazing and other areas while spraying paint. It is made by Aires, a renowned supplier of resin aircraft accessories.
The L-39 Albatros is a Czechoslovak jet trainer built by Aero Vodochody that became one of the most widespread training machines in the world. The ZA version is the combat variant with underwing stores and gun armament. Detailed wheels and accurate masking bring out the realistic look of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, separate the casting blocks and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply the masks to clean, degreased glazing just before spraying and remove them carefully once the paint has dried. It is practical to paint the wheels separately and fit them at the end of the build.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
